Mustangs Drop Contest To Cougars

            Conway, Ark. – Opening the final weekend of the regular season at home, Central Baptist College volleyball hosted the Cougars of Columbia College tonight in an American Midwest Conference tilt inside A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse. CBC (7-12, 5-5 AMC) was swept by CC (20-11, 9-1 AMC), falling by scores of 12-25, 16-25 and 20-25.

            Madeline Freeman led the way with 10 kills, Brooke Schmitz had 10 assists and Kailee Walker had 12 digs. CBC had 23 kills and hit .031 while Columbia had 44 kills and hit .280.

            CBC puts a bow on the regular season tomorrow when they welcome the Stars of Stephens College into Reddin Fieldhouse. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m. and Senior Day festivities honor Schmitz, Walker, Sheridan Rogers and Faith Stone will take place following the match.
