St. Louis, Mo. – Beginning their final stretch of the regular season on the road, Central Baptist College volleyball took on the Spartans of Missouri Baptist tonight in an American Midwest Conference tilt inside the Petty Student Resources Center. CBC (4-17, 1-8 AMC) finished the night with only 12 kills, falling in straight sets to MBU (25-3, 8-1 AMC) by scores of 16-25, 6-25, 9-25.
Kenzie Hanks had five kills to lead the way, while also hitting .333 on the night. Molly Murphy was the assist leader with 10 and Kylah Shumate led the way in digs with five.
CBC has been eliminated from qualification for the AMC tournament, so their season will come to an end tomorrow night when they take on Harris-Stowe State inside the Emerson Performance Center. First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m.
