#MustangsWin! CBC Sweeps Ecclesia Behind Strong Defense and Threes!

Conway, Ark. – Playing at A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse for the first time in over a month, Central Baptist College women's basketball hosted the Ecclesia Royals tonight in their final non-conference regular season game of the season. CBC (3-5) never trailed, leading by as many as 48 in an 88-44 win over EC (1-9).
Five players finished in double figures scoring for CBC, led by Lexi Duck with 19 points. Addison Hudspeth and Aliya Grotjohn both had 18 points while Riley Whittington added 11 in her season debut and Cammi Christie had 10. CBC hit their second most threes in a game ever with 16 (including six from Grotjohn) and posted their first 50-plus rebound game of the season with 51, including 22 offensively.
MUSTANG NOTES
- CBC won for the 23rd time in 25 meetings with Ecclesia and swept the season from the Royals
- Hudspeth also added 11 rebounds for her first career double-double
- CBC held EC to just 29 percent shooting from the field and 16 percent from three
- The Mustangs were plus 13 on the glass overall and forced 31 turnovers
