Lady Mustangs Fall To Cougars

            Conway, Ark. – Opening their final two game stretch of the regular season at home, Central Baptist College women's basketball hosted the Cougars of Columbia College tonight at A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse needing a win to move up in the American Midwest Conference standings. CBC (10-15, 8-13 AMC) couldn't stop the explosive Columbia (24-3, 18-3 AMC) offense, dropping the contest 88-59 and falling to the eight-seed in next week's AMC Tournament.

             Addison Hudspeth led the way with 16 points for CBC while both Aliya Grotjohn and Riley Whittington finished with 10 each. CBC was able to capture an early one point lead in the first quarter before CC went on a 9-0 run to seal the game in their favor.

            The Lady Mustangs wrap up the regular season on Saturday when they welcome Stephens to Reddin. Tipoff is scheduled for 3 p.m.
