Columbia, Mo. – Returning to the American Midwest Conference tournament after missing out last season, the eighth seeded Central Baptist College women's basketball team was on the floor tonight at the Arena at Southwell Complex for an AMC Quarterfinal presented by Tandem HR matchup with the top seed, Columbia Cougars. CBC (7-18) saw their season come to an end after trailing at the half before dropping the contest 90-45 to CC (25-4).
Olivia Lambrigtsen paced the Lady Mustangs with 14 points while Rhys Anderson also finished in double figures with 12. CBC's season comes to an end early but not before they made the AMC Tournament for the third time in four years.
SEASON NOTES
- The Lady Mustangs finished with 166 made threes this season, good for seventh most in a season
- CBC shot 74 percent from the free throw line this season to set a new single-season record
- CBC tied for the 10th most offensive rebounds in a season with 328 and also finished 10th in a season in rebounds per game, at just over 38
- CBC had 316 assists this season, 10th most in program history and averaged 12.7 assists per game, good for eighth all-time
- The Lady Mustangs had the eighth best scoring average in a single-season at 62.5 and also allowed the ninth fewest points in a season at 1,819
