Hannibal, Mo. – On the road for the first time in six games, Central Baptist College women's basketball took on the Trojans of Hannibal-LaGrange tonight at the Mabee Sports Complex in an American Midwest Conference tilt. CBC (4-14, 3-9 AMC) never trailed, racing out to a 12-0 lead before cruising to a 65-30 win over HLGU (5-14, 1-11 AMC) to sweep the season series from the Trojans.
Every single player scored for the Mustangs, led by 12 from Caroline Citty, 11 from Aliya Grotjohn and 10 from Rhys Anderson. Citty also became just the fifth Mustang ever with seven steals in a game as CBC shot 35 percent from the floor and held HLGU to just 20 percent from the field.
