St. Louis, Mo. – Playing on the road for the first time in 12 days, Central Baptist College women's basketball was inside the UHSP Gymnasium tonight for an American Midwest Conference contest against the Eutectics of the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis. CBC (3-8, 2-4 AMC) trailed 38-26 at halftime and dropped the contest 82-61 to UHSP (9-7, 4-2 AMC).
Olivia Lambrigtsen led the way in scoring for the Mustangs with 17 points while Aliya Grotjohn added 11 off the bench. Taryanna McNary led on the glass with six rebounds and Rhys Anderson handed out six assists. CBC was plus one on the glass, 31-30 and outscored UHSP's bench 23-20.
The Lady Mustangs head to Columbia, Mo., on Saturday for another AMC contest against current leaders Stephens. Tipoff from Silverthorne Arena is slated for 1 p.m.
