Conway, Ark. – Playing at home for the first time since Dec. 12, 2023, Central Baptist College women's basketball hosted the Eagles of Williams Baptist University tonight in an American Midwest Conference contest inside A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse. CBC (1-7, 0-3 AMC) kept it close in the first half but got outscored 27-8 in the third quarter, falling 89-58 to WBU (9-3, 2-1 AMC).
Lydia York led the way in scoring with 16 points off the bench while Olivia Lambrigtsen joined her in double figures with 13. Lambrigtsen and Tamara Christmas were the co-leading rebounders with six apiece. CBC was plus one on the rebounding front, 39-38 and made one more free throw, 13-12, in the contest.
The Lady Mustangs return to A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse for another AMC tilt on Thursday night when Hannibal-LaGrange comes for a visit. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
