CBC Drops Hard Fought Contest To CRC

            Paragould, Ark. – Renewing a rivalry for the 12th straight year, Central Baptist College women's basketball took on the Pioneers of Crowley's Ridge College tonight at the Carter Activities Center. The 19th meeting between the two schools went the way of CRC (3-1) as the Lady Mustangs (0-3) trailed at halftime and lost 84-71.

            Olivia Lambrigtsen posted her second career double-double, leading the way with a career-high 22 points and 11 rebounds. Caroline Citty chipped in with 15 points and had a career-high seven assists while Kristen Hargrove chipped in with 13 off the bench. CBC outrebounded the Pioneers 43-37, but trailed in both made threes (11-6) and made free throws (19-11) to make the difference in the contest.

            The Mustangs and Pioneers will meet again in nine days at A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse when CBC is on the floor next. Tipoff for that contest is slated for 1 p.m.
