Columbia, Mo. – Traveling across the state to end their American Midwest Conference road trip, Central Baptist College women's basketball took on the Cougars of Columbia College. CBC (8-11, 3-11 AMC) trailed 43-27 at halftime and lost to CC (17-4, 12-0 AMC) 85-54.
Caroline Citty led three Lady Mustangs in double figures scoring with 19 points while Emma Bates had a career-high 11 and Rhys Anderson chipped in with 11 as well. CBC only turned the ball over 10 times in the contest, but couldn't answer a hot shooting Columbia team that finished 44 percent from the field.
CBC returns home for their next game on Thursday night against Hannibal-LaGrange. Tipoff for the AMC clash from Reddin Fieldhouse is slated for 5:30 p.m.
