#MustangsWin! CBC Completes Season Sweep of Ecclesia!

Erik Holth, CBC Sports Information Director

Springdale, Ark. – Stepping back out of American Midwest Conference play tonight, Central Baptist College women's basketball took on the Royals of Ecclesia College at the Jones Center. CBC (5-3) never trailed, leading 25-8 after one quarter and cruising to a 91-51 win over EC (5-7) to complete the sweep of the Royals this season.

Alexis Augustus led five players in double figures scoring as CBC had one of their best shooting nights this season, making 36 of 82 shots (43.9 percent) and also canning 10 threes while only committing eight turnovers. The Lady Mustangs also dominated on the glass, outrebounding the Royals 49-25, including 21-3 on the offensive glass.
