Conway, Ark. – Playing at Warrior Field at Hendrix College for a home match this afternoon, Central Baptist College men's soccer hosted the Cougars of Columbia in an American Midwest Conference match. CBC (5-8-3, 1-1-3 AMC) couldn't break through the CC (8-3-4, 4-1-1 AMC) defense, dropping points to the Cougars by a 2-0 result.
Daniel Pinkney was able to get one shot toward CC's net but it was turned away. Jasper Gadellaa turned away seven CC shots, but allowed a pair of second half goals in the defeat.
Next up for CBC is a trip to Walnut Ridge on Tuesday for a meeting with the defending AMC Champion Eagles of Williams Baptist. Kickoff from WBU Eagle Field is slated for 3 p.m.
