#MustangsWin! CBC Leads Wire-To-Wire In Dominant Victory Over Louisiana Christian!

            Texarkana, Texas – Playing in a tournament for the third weekend in a row, Central Baptist College men's basketball was at the Patterson Center this afternoon for a matinee contest against the Wildcats of Louisiana Christian University. CBC (6-2) never trailed, leading by 14 at halftime and cruising to a 77-56 win over LCU (2-3).

            Three Mustangs, Sage Borbon, Deshawn Corprew and Jonas Carlisle all finished in double figures scoring, with Borbon and Corprew each pouring in 13 points with Carlisle adding 11. Corprew also notched his fourth double-double this season tacking on 11 rebounds. The win was the third in as many meetings between the Mustangs and Wildcats as CBC won both matchups last season. CBC shot 46 percent from the floor and 46 percent from three while winning the rebounding battle 38-32 and outscoring LCU 32-20 in the paint.

            The Mustangs wrap up their final tournament of November tomorrow when they take on the Eagles of Texas A&M-Texarkana. Tipoff from the Patterson Center is scheduled for 3 p.m.
