Mustangs Drop Close Contest To Trailblazers

            Oakland City, Ind. – Looking to wrap up the Dunn Hospitality Classic unbeaten, Central Baptist College men's basketball took on the Trailblazers of Ohio Christian University at the Johnson Center. CBC (3-2) got off to a fast start, but cooled off in the second half, losing 80-70 to OCU (2-3).

            Sage Borbon was one of four players in double figures with 19 points while Devin Foster chipped in with a career-high 16, Tomas Mikyska had 12 and Kyle Harding had 11 off the bench. CBC shot 46.3 percent from the field, 40 percent from three and 71 percent at the free throw line with 27 rebounds. The second half cost the Mustangs, as they shot 60 percent from the floor in the first half and just 35 percent in the second half.

            The Mustangs are back on the road on Friday to open the Baptist Bible Classic in Springfield, Mo. Tipoff against the Baptist Bible Patriots from Dowell Fieldhouse is scheduled for 6 p.m.
