#MustangsWin! Men's Basketball Uses Record Breaking Run to Sweep HLGU!

Erik Holth, CBC Sports Information Director

Conway, Ark. – Trailing 4-0 inside the first two-and-a-half minutes, Central Baptist College men's basketball exploded from there, using a 38-0 run to put their American Midwest Conference game with Hannibal-LaGrange at A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse out of reach. CBC (16-8, 8-4 AMC) led 55-22 at the half and cruised to a 105-59 win over HLGU (7-12, 2-9 AMC).

The 38 consecutive points is the most ever scored by a Mustang team consecutively in the program's history and spanned nine minutes and 47 seconds of game time. Brevin Brimble was one of three Mustangs in double figures with 23 points while Jalen Adams had 19 and Braylon Steen added 10. CBC dominated in every phase of the game, setting season highs in nearly every category and breaking into the single game top 10 in several categories.
