Freeman, Ruggles Earn All-AMC Honors

St. Louis, Mo. – The American Midwest Conference named their volleyball all-conference awards today and a pair of Central Baptist College players were amongst the selections. Congratulations to Madeline Freeman and Aubree Ruggles on their selections to the All-Conference teams.
Freeman earned first-team honors for the second year in a row. She ranks fourth in the conference in kills per set and leads the team in kills with 186 while also posting 255 assists, 219 digs, 11 aces and 22 total blocks, which is a career high. This is her third all-conference selection following last year and an honorable mention selection in 2022.
Ruggles earned honorable mention honors as a freshman after posting 123 kills and a team co-leading 39 blocks in 62 sets this season. She ranks inside the top 20 in blocks per set including 17 solo blocks.
The volleyball team opens the AMC Tournament tonight in St. Louis against Missouri Baptist. First serve is at 7 p.m. and tickets may be purchased ahead of time at amcsportsonline.com/tickets.
