St. Louis, Mo. – The American Midwest Conference has announced their all-conference selections for volleyball and a pair of Central Baptist College Mustangs were selected to the Honorable Mention teams. Sophomore Mikayla Lawrence and freshman Madeline Freeman were the two Mustangs selected for their performance on the court this season.

Lawrence, who earned her second consecutive honorable mention selection, played in all 22 matches and 81 sets that the Mustangs contested this season, pacing the team in both digs (306) and service aces (26) but also reached a career milestone, becoming just the second player in program history ever to accumulate 1,000 digs. Lawrence also posted a career-high in kills with 107 this season and had two double-doubles. Freeman played all over the court this season in her 17 games and 60 sets, finishing second on the team in both kills and assists and placing third on the squad in digs while also ranking second in points. Freeman, who recorded an outstanding 10 double-doubles on the season, also made history, becoming the first player ever to record a triple-double, then repeating that feat again two matches later. Congratulations to these two young women on their recognition!
