Freeman Earns AMC Athlete of the Week Honors

            St. Louis, Mo. – For the first time this season, Central Baptist College volleyball has the American Midwest Conference athlete of the week, the AMC office announced in a release earlier this afternoon. Freshman Madeline Freeman was selected by the conference as the Attacker of the Week.

            Freeman had a historic weekend for the Mustangs, recording the first triple-double in program history in Friday night's win over UHSP and following that up with her ninth double-double of the season on Saturday at Hannibal-LaGrange. For the weekend, she had 31 kills, an average of 4.43 per set, and hit .296. Congratulations to Madeline on this honor!

            The Mustang volleyball team is back on the court on Thursday night in Paragould against Crowley's Ridge.
