#MustangsWin! CBC Avenges Early Season Loss to Crowley's Ridge
Conway, Ark. – Seeking to avenge an early season loss, Central Baptist College volleyball hosted the Pioneers of Crowley's Ridge College tonight at Reddin Fieldhouse. CBC (8-7) dominated the match, sweeping CRC (6-12) while making only seven hitting errors all evening.
MATCH NOTES
- The win was the 28th for CBC in 37 matches all-time against the Pioneers
- The Mustangs are now 3-3 in three-set matches this season
- The Mustangs had 41 kills and hit .298 while holding CRC to 17 kills and an .021 hitting percentage
- Kylee Sabella and Presley Hamric were the co-kills leaders with 11 each
- Kenzie Hanks chipped in with 10 kills
- Molly Murphy had 35 assists to move her within six of the ninth most in a single-season (455)
- Mikayla Lawrence had 19 digs, moving her to within two of reaching the top 10 for a career (529)
- CBC had a season-high 11 service aces
- Reaven Seymore had three blocks, including one solo block, moving her to within one of the top 10 in career solo blocks
- Seymore also moved into ninth place in career points with 557.5
- The Mustangs reached 640 kills on the season tonight, moving them into the top 10 in a season
- CBC is hitting .170 as a team, on pace to be the best season since 2012
- The Mustangs passed the 100 service ace plateau for the 13th consecutive season
