Preview: CBC Looks For Season Sweep of College of the Ozarks

PREVIEW: CBC LOOKS FOR SEASON SWEEP OF COLLEGE OF THE OZARKS

            Conway, Ark. – Looking to bounce back from a loss on Friday night, Central Baptist College volleyball heads to the road tomorrow night for a non-conference match with the Bobcats of College of the Ozarks.   • CBC enters the match 7-6 overall
  • C of O is 7-8 overall
  • The Bobcats lead the all-time series 13-1, but CBC won the last time these teams met, back on Sept. 23 in Conway
  • Kylee Sabella leads the Mustangs in kills with 135 while Presley Hamric leads in hitting percentage at .233
  • Molly Murphy has the most assists with 386, one off the entire total she had last season and 16 assists away from a top-10 season in assists
  • Murphy also leads the team in service aces with 18
  • Mikayla Lawrence has 259 digs, 16 more than she had last season, and is one of only 12 Mustangs all-time with at least 500 career digs (502)
  • Reaven Seymore has the most total blocks on the team with 21
  • CBC has 551 kills and is hitting .158 this season with 83 aces and 52 total blocks while opponents have 460 kills, a .164 hitting percentage and 77 aces with 65 blocks
  • C of O is led by Riley Thixton with 198 kills while Brooklyn Crawford leads the team in hitting percentage at .258
  • Morgan Austin has the most assists with 535
  • Mica Chadwell leads the team with 271 digs and is tied with Thixton for the most aces with 25
  • Crawford leads the team in blocks with 34
  • C of O has 670 kills, a .164 hitting percentage, 80 aces and 98 total blocks while opponents have 605 kills, a .145 hitting percentage, 80 aces and 80 total blocks
