Hot Springs, Ark. – Looking for their fourth win in a row, Central Baptist College volleyball took on the Tigers of Champion Christian College last night in the Champion Community Center. CBC (5-3) took care of business, sweeping CCC (1-9) in three sets by scores of 25-23, 25-21 & 25-17.
Presley Hamric led the way in kills while Molly Murphy had the most assists, but saw her double-double streak end. CBC hit .292 on the evening and committed a season low six service errors.
MATCH NOTES
- The Mustangs improved to 7-0 all-time against the Tigers
- CBC improved to 1-1 in three set matches this season, earning their 77th sweep all-time
- Hamric had 16 kills and hit .324
- Kylee Sabella had 12 kills and hit .333
- Murphy had 41 assists, her third 40-assist match this season
- Hamric also had her first career match with five-or-more blocks, posting six on the evening
