Track Competes At Principia Relays

            Elsah, Ill. – Competing for the second straight weekend, Central Baptist College track & field competed today on the first day of the 2023 Principia Relays. The Mustangs had four athletes compete in five events on the day.

            Ally Swaim, Josh Brown, Ashleigh Gross-Mitchell and Jadon Price competed for the Mustangs. Swaim qualified for the 60-meter hurdles finals with the fastest time in the semifinals at 9.25. Josh Brown qualified for the men's 60-meter hurdle finals as well with a time of 8.99, the fourth fastest time, while running a 7.71 in the 60-meter dash final. Gross-Mitchell ran an 8.74 in the 60-meter dash final on the women's side and jumped 4.33 meters in the long jump. Price jumped 5.22 meters in the men's long jump.

            The Mustangs finish the Principia Relays tomorrow morning beginning at 10 a.m.
