Four Mustangs Earn Honorable Mention Selections From American Midwest Conference

            St. Louis, Mo. – After only two all-American Midwest Conference selections last year, Central Baptist College women's soccer earned four American Midwest Conference honorable mention selections for the 2022 season. The #6 seeded Mustangs play #3 seed Harris-Stowe State later this afternoon in the AMC Quarterfinals.

            Bayleigh Williams, Jayme Selph, Lexie Sengmanivong and Amanda Parreiras earned honorable mention All-AMC selections for this season. Williams earned her third straight honorable mention selection, playing most of this season in a holding midfield role. Selph earned her first all-conference selection after finishing seventh in the AMC in saves, fourth in minutes played for goalkeepers, sixth in goals against average and eighth in save percentage. Sengmanivong and Parreiras both earned their first selections as freshman. Sengmanivong was instrumental to a pair of shutouts at center back and Parreiras led the team in goals scored with seven and points with 16 while ranking tied for sixth in the AMC in goals and tied for ninth in points. Congratulations to these four on an outstanding season!
