Columbia, Mo. – Playing their first American Midwest Conference road match today, Central Baptist College women's soccer was at R. Marvin Owens Field this afternoon to take on the Cougars of Columbia College. CBC (4-7-1, 1-2 AMC) couldn't muster anything offensively, trailing 2-0 at halftime before losing 5-0 to CC (7-3-1, 3-0 AMC).
Jayme Selph started in goal and had two saves and Bailey Walerczyk played the second half and made four saves. CBC is back on the field next on Tuesday afternoon for another AMC contest in Batesville against Lyon. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
