Candil, Crutchfield Earn AMC Athlete of the Week Honors

            St. Louis, Mo. – For the first time this fall season a pair of Central Baptist College golfers have earned American Midwest Conference honors this season. Juan Candil and Laney Crutchfield were selected as the AMC Golfers of the Week.

            Candil went 77-75-77 to finish in a tie for 10^th at the Southwestern Christian Invitational. Crutchfield shot 91-86-83 to finish 16^th at the Southwestern Christian Invitational in the first tournament of the season for both teams.

            The golf teams are back on course next Monday and Tuesday in Kennett, Mo., for the Williams Baptist Fall Invitational.
