#MustangsWin! CBC Opens AMC Tournament With Run Rule Win Over Mission

            Branson, Mo. – Opening play as the number four seed in the American Midwest Conference tournament, Central Baptist College softball took on Mission today at the Branson Rec Plex. CBC (28-21) got off to a hot start and never relented, run-ruling the Patriots (25-18) 8-0 in five innings.

            Taviah Bradley led off the game with a home run, her fourth of the season, and CBC led, 1-0, four pitches into the game. After a scoreless second, the Mustangs plated six runs in the third inning to take a 7-0 lead after an error that scored three runs, a single by Elizabeth Stoufer and a single by Sydney Weiser. The final run crossed the plate in the fourth when Eden East singled to put the run rule into effect. Ryleigh Keele earned her 14^th win with a complete game three-hit shutout, striking out five.

            CBC will face the regular season champions Williams Baptist in the winner's bracket tomorrow. First pitch is scheduled for noon.
