Conway, Ark. – Coming off a pair of walk-off wins yesterday, Central Baptist College softball looked to carry that momentum into today's home doubleheader against Missouri Valley University. CBC (7-11) took care of business again, sweeping MVU (0-10) 6-3 and 8-0.

GAME ONE – CBC 6, MVU 3

Taviah Bradley started the scoring with her second home run of the season to make it 1-0 in the first. MVU would tie the game in the second and take a 3-1 lead in the third. CBC responded, cutting the deficit to 3-2 on a Melanie Phillips double in the fourth. The Mustangs would tie the Vikings in the fifth on a sac fly by Bradley and would take the lead in the sixth on Kinley Johnson's first home run of the season, followed by an RBI single by Sydney Weiser and a wild pitch that brought home the final run. Isabella Sawyers went the distance, scattering nine hits while allowing three runs with nine strikeouts.

GAME TWO – CBC 8, MVU 0 (SIX INNINGS)

The Mustangs jumped on the Vikings immediately in game one, scoring five runs on a Johnson double, an error, a two-run double by Eden East and a single by Casi Saunders. Two more runs crossed the plate in the fourth on a single by East, giving her four runs batted in, and the game ended in the sixth when Bradley scored East on a sac fly to put the run rule into effect. Ryleigh Keele earned the win, throwing a complete game four-hit shutout with three Ks for her third win of the season.
