Johnson Earns First AMC Player of the Week of 2025!

St. Louis, Mo. – For the first time this season in the first week of the season, Central Baptist College softball has earned the AMC Player of the Week. Kinley Johnson was named the first Player of the Week today.
Johnson had a huge weekend in four games for the Mustangs. She went 7-12 with three home runs, six RBIs and four walks for a .583 batting average and a slugging percentage of 1.333. In the first game of the season against #21 LSU-Alexandria she blasted a pair of home runs and drove in all three runs.
Johnson and the Mustangs are back in Louisiana this weekend for the Generals Showdown hosted by LSU-Alexandria. First pitch against #14 William Carey on Friday is scheduled for 3 p.m.
