Erik Holth, CBC Sports Information Director
St. Louis, Mo. – For the second straight week and fourth time this season, Central Baptist College softball corner infielder Lauren Anderson has earned AMC Player of the Week honors. Anderson nearly repeated what she did a week ago to earn the penultimate player of the week award this season.
In five games, Anderson was 10-16 with four doubles, two home runs and 11 RBIs. On Tuesday at Crowley's Ridge she hit a pinch-hit, game-winning three-run home run in game two to give CBC a 5-4 lead at the time. On Friday in the split at Cottey, she homered again and four more RBIs in the game one win.
Anderson and the Mustangs host Williams Baptist tomorrow at 2 p.m. in their final AMC doubleheader of the season.
