Anderson Earns Third Player Of The Week Award This Season

            St. Louis, Mo. – For the third time this season, Lauren Anderson has been named the American Midwest Conference softball player of the week. She was selected from a pool of nominees based on their performance last week.

            Anderson hit .538 last week in a 3-1 week for the Mustangs. Six of her seven hits went for extra bases, including three doubles, two triples and home run with five RBIs. She tripled and homered in CBC's win over Columbia on Friday and then went 4-6 with two doubles, a triple and three RBIs in the Mustangs' doubleheader sweep of Stephens on Senior Day this past Saturday. She earns the sixth player of the week award for the Mustangs this year.

            Anderson and CBC play a non-conference doubleheader against Crowley's Ridge tomorrow in Paragould.
