Anderson Earns AMC Player of the Week Honors For The Second Time This Season

            St. Louis, Mo. – For the second time this season, Lauren Anderson was selected by the American Midwest Conference as the softball player of the week. It was also the fourth selection for CBC this season after Anderson (Week 1), Jordyn Frederic (Week 2) and Abi West (Week 3).

            Anderson had a huge Saturday against Lyon, hitting .625 with four extra base hits and 12 RBIs. In the first game of the doubleheader, which CBC won 22-5, Anderson had a grand slam and a two-run single. In the second game, she doubled three times and drove in six runs again.

            Anderson leads the Mustangs into a doubleheader with Arkansas-Pine Bluff tomorrow at 12 p.m. at the Torii Hunter Softball Complex.
