Wagle Earns AMC Player of the Week Honors

St. Louis, Mo. – For the first time this season Central Baptist College softball has the American Midwest Conference player of the week. Allison Wagle was selected today by the AMC as the first player of the week since Lauren Anderson won it for the week of March 7th last year.
Wagle had a great week, hitting safely in all four of CBC's game, including a 4-4 game against Bethel on Thursday. For the week, Wagle hit .538 with four runs scored, two home runs, a double and seven RBIs. Congratulations to Allison on this recognition.
Wagle and the Mustangs are back in action in Gulf Shores, Ala., this weekend at the Gulf Coast Invitational. The first pitch against Texas A&M-San Antonio on Friday is scheduled for 9 a.m.
