Palmer Earns Second AMC Athlete of the Week Award

St. Louis, Mo. – For the second time this season Central Baptist College cross country athlete Chris Palmer has earned American Midwest Conference runner of the week. The selection was made by the conference's Sports Information Directors in a vote earlier today.
Palmer made history at this past Saturday's Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival. In the men's Prairie Fire 8K Palmer became the first Mustang ever to eclipse the 30-minute mark at the distance, finishing in a time of 29:20.2. He was the 10th highest finishing NAIA runner in a field of over 150. Congratulations to Chris, who will lead the Mustangs into Clarksville on the 12th in their final regular season meet at University of the Ozarks.
