Wrestling Competes At Huntingdon Tri-Dual

            Montgomery, Ala. – Competing for the final time in the 2022 calendar year, Central Baptist College wrestling was on the mat today at Huntingdon University for the Huntingdon Tri-Dual against the host school and Cumberland University. CBC would drop the Huntingdon Dual 46-15 and would lose to Cumberland U 47-3.

            David Corretjer was the only Mustang to win both of his matches at 125 pounds. Alejandro Mas won by forfeit at 149 against HC and Darron Harvey won his match at 285 against HC as well. Corretjer's win against Huntingdon came by fall at the 44 second mark and his win over Cumberland's Ellis Haney was by a 5-2 decision. Harvey's win was by decision, 5-2. Isaiah Hendrix also competed at 141 pounds in both matches and Guillermo Ramos competed at 157 pounds in both matches.

            CBC will return to the mat after the new year, also on Jan. 7 at Friends University in Wichita, Kan.
