Men's Soccer Releases 2026 Schedule

Erik Holth, CBC Sports Information Director

Conway, Ark. – Central Baptist College head men's soccer coach Dylan Perdue has announced the 2026 schedule for the Mustangs. The schedule includes 18 contests, nine of which will be played at the Conway Soccer Complex off of Museum Road.

The season kicks off on August 22 when the Mustangs head to Bella Vista for an in-state matchup with the Ecclesia Royals. An exhibition match against crosstown rival Hendrix follows on the 25th before the month ends with the home opener against Division II Delta State on the 29th.

September opens with a match against Freed-Hardeman at home on the first before the three-match homestand ends against the Texas A&M-Texarkana Eagles on the fifth. A second crosstown clash, this time at the Stephens Complex at UCA, takes place on the eighth followed by a return home for Senior Day against Louisiana Christian on the 12th. A three-match road trip follows Senior Day when CBC heads to Randall on the 15th, Oklahoma City on the 19th and Blue Mountain Christian on the 22nd. The final match in September is at home against Dallas Christian on the 26th.

October starts with a home match against William Carey on the first followed almost entirely by American Midwest Conference play beginning with trips to Hannibal-LaGrange, who ended CBC's season in the playoffs last year, on the third followed by the reigning champions Columbia on the 10th. The first AMC home match is against Mission on the 13th followed by another home match against Harris-Stowe on the 17th. The final non-conference and road match of the season is against future AMC rival Champion Christian on the 24th before AMC and in-state rival Williams Baptist wraps up the season at home on the 27th.

"We are very excited about the challenges and opportunities presented by our schedule," said Perdue. "Out non-conference slate features several high-quality opponents, including nationally ranked programs and our NCAA Division I neighbor UCA. Competing against strong competition early in the season is essential in preparing our team for the demands of AMC play. The AMC proved to be competitive across the board last season and we anticipate that level of competition will continue in 2026. Every match will require focus, consistency, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Our incoming and returning players must be prepared to compete from day one. September presents a demanding schedule, and quality depth throughout the roster will be critical to managing the workload and achieving our goals. We are excited about the group we have assembled and look forward to the challenge ahead. Go Mustangs!"
