Mustangs Drop Season Opener To Eagles

            Fayette, Mo. – Kicking off the 2025 season today after a pair of exhibitions, Central Baptist College men's soccer was on the pitch today at Davis Field for a contest against Central Methodist. CBC (0-1) kept it tied for 69 minutes before allowing three goals in a 15 minute span to fall 3-0 to CMU (2-1-1).

            Jasper Gadellaa went all 90 minutes in net, making eight saves. Archie Woodall, Billy Murray and Nigel Agboola all had shots at goal but were turned away by the CMU keeper.

            CBC plays their home opener Saturday when they welcome #16 Oklahoma City to the Conway Soccer Complex. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m.
