North Little Rock, Ark. – Returning home for the first time in over a week, Central Baptist College men's soccer hosted the Eagles of Texas A&M-Texarkana tonight at Burns Park. CBC (1-3) went in tied at halftime, but allowed to second half TAMUT (1-2-1) goals early and couldn't recover, dropping the match 2-1.
Billy Murray broke through in the 82nd minute for his first goal of the season off an assist by Hugh McAuley. The Mustangs had another late attempt on a corner kick that missed its target.
Next up for the Mustangs is a trip to Mississippi next Friday to take on the Tougaloo Bulldogs. Kickoff is slated for 6 p.m.
