Conway, Ark. – Hosting an American Midwest Conference opponent for the first time at home this season, Central Baptist College men's soccer took on the Eutectics of the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy in St. Louis this afternoon at Centennial Soccer Park. CBC (4-7-3, 0-0-3 AMC) trailed 1-0 at halftime but got two second half Daniel Pinkney goals to salvage their third straight AMC draw, 2-2, with UHSP (3-6-2, 0-2-1 AMC).
Pinkney's goals were his fifth and sixth on the season and both came in his first game back from injury. Alfredo Lopez notched his first assist of the season on Pinkney's first goal.
GAME FLOW
UHSP took the lead six minutes into the contest and held that lead through halftime. Pinkney scored two minutes into the second half to tie the match at one off Lopez's assist and it stayed 1-1 until the 70th minute when Pinkney notched his brace to give CBC a 2-1 lead. UHSP would tie the score in the 76th minute and the game would end 2-2 in 90.
MUSTANG NOTES
- The Mustangs remained unbeaten all-time against the Eutectics, moving to 8-0-1 in the series
- Pinkney now has 18 career goals which puts him in a tie for fifth all-time with Austin Lamb and Joe Adkins
- Pinkney also increased his point total in his career to 51 which ties him for fourth all-time with T.J. Rodriguez
- AMC Defensive Player of the Week Jasper Gadellaa stopped four shots on goal to keep the match tied

The Mustangs are off for seven days before hosting AMC rival Hannibal-LaGrange. Kickoff from Centennial next Tuesday is slated for 1 p.m.
