Goalkeepers Represent CBC In AMC Defensive Players of the Week Selections

            St. Louis, Mo. – The American Midwest Conference announced their men's and women's soccer athletes of the week and a pair of Central Baptist College Mustangs were represented on this week's team. Goalkeepers Bailey Walerczyk and Jasper Gadellaa were named defensive players of the week this week.

            Walerczyk played in two matches and made 22 saves with an .815 save percentage this week. That effort included nine saves in Saturday's draw at William Woods. Gadellaa also played in two matches this week, making 21 saves with a save percentage of .840. He posted 10 saves in Monday's loss to #13 Bethel before making 11 saves to preserve the draw with William Woods on Saturday.

            Both soccer teams are back in action tomorrow at Centennial Soccer Park against UHSP. The women kickoff the doubleheader at 1 p.m.
