CBC Earns Four Honorable Mention Selections From AMC

            St. Louis, Mo. – In conjunction with the first day of the American Midwest Conference tournament, the AMC announced the 2022 men's soccer all-conference teams today. Four Mustangs, Callum Bisset, Daniel Mondragon, Daniel Pinkney and Manny Almaraz, all earned honorable mention selections for the #8 seeded Mustangs who play the #1 seeded Eagles of Williams Baptist University later today.

            Bisset was selected as honorable mention this season after earning a first-team selection in 2021. He was second on the team in assists with 10 and netted two goals as well while playing an outside wing back. Mondragon was also honorable mention this season after earning honorable mention honors last season. He ranked tied for seventh in the AMC in goals with seven and added six assists for a total of 20 points on the season, which ranked him fifth and tied for fifth in the AMC, respectively. Pinkney had an outstanding season, leading the conference in goals (12), assists (13) and points (37) while becoming the first player since Sabelo Hlongwane in 2011 to record double-digit goals and assists in the same season. Almaraz contributed a goal this season and earned AMC defensive player of the week honors once during the regular season. Congratulations to these four on their on-field achievements this season!
