St. Louis, Mo. – Trying to snap their current winless streak, Central Baptist College men's soccer was at Spartan Field today for an American Midwest Conference contest against Missouri Baptist University. CBC (8-5-3, 1-3-2 AMC) couldn't answer a pair of MBU (9-4, 3-2 AMC) goals in the first half, falling 2-0.
Both goals were scored in the first 27 minutes of the contest. CBC had three shots toward net while Missouri Baptist had seven, five of which were saved by Jasper Gadellaa.
The Mustangs are off until next Tuesday when they welcome Williams Baptist to Centennial Soccer Park for their final home match of the year. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m.
