Men's Soccer Picked Sixth In AMC Preseason Poll

            St. Louis, Mo. – Coming off an appearance in the American Midwest Conference semifinals last season, Central Baptist College was picked sixth in the AMC Coaches Poll that was released by the conference this morning. CBC is coming off a season where they finished 9-10-1 overall and placed fourth in the regular season last year.

            "We have been disrespected," said head coach Lance Gordon. "We will see how it shakes out in the end."

            CBC returns 10 players from last year's squad, including all-conference performers Chris Orellana, Callum Bisset and Andrea Migliozzi, who led the team in goals. Most of the defense also returns including center backs Manny Almaraz and Mario Ceballos. The season kicks off for men's soccer on Saturday in Dallas against Paul Quinn College.
