Six Mustangs Earn All-Conference Honors From AMC

St. Louis, Mo. – The American Midwest Conference announced their men's soccer all-conference teams today following the conclusion of the conference championship game. Six Mustangs, the most ever since joining the AMC, were selected to both the first-team and the honorable mention team.

The six Mustangs selected were Chris Orellana, Callum Bisset and Nyasha Dube on the first team while Carlos Beltran, Daniel Mondragon and Andrea Migliozzi earned honorable mention selections. Orellana and Dube tied for second on the team in goals scored with nine apiece, which ranked them sixth in the AMC. Bisset, who had a team-high eight assists, tied for first in the league in that category.

Beltran earned his third honorable mention selection, picking up honors in 2017 and 2020 as well. He finished the season with career bests in both goals (five) and assists (three). Mondragon posted six goals and seven assists and was responsible for one of the most dramatic moments of the regular season, keeping CBC's eight match unbeaten streak alive with a golden goal against Williams Baptist. Migliozzi ranked fifth in the conference and led the team in goals with 10, the first 10 goal season by a Mustang since 2013.

Congratulations to these six on their recognition! To keep up with the rest of the awards season in the AMC, be sure to like and follow @gocbcmustangs on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
