Mustangs In Fourth After 36 Holes In AMC Championship

Melbourne, Ark. – Teeing off this morning, Central Baptist College men's golf opened their final tournament of the season, the American Midwest Conference Championship at Cooper's Hawk Golf Club. CBC shot a 612 for 36 holes and are currently in fourth place, just one shot off second place and 16 off the lead.
Kolt Carden was the low Mustang on the day with rounds of 74 and 78 to put himself in seventh place, eight strokes off the lead. Preston Nesterenko is one stroke behind Carden after rounds of 75 and 78 to sit in a tie for eighth. Juan Miranda is also inside the top 10 after rounds of 78 and 78. Gustavo Bello, Lucas Alemparte and Cooper Hermann are all one stroke behind Miranda after Bello went 76-81, Alemparte went 77-80 and Hermann also went 77-80. Eliseo Campos was just a shot behind that trio after rounds of 78 and 80.
The final round tees off tomorrow at 8:30 a.m.
