Mustangs In Second After One Round At Scots Fall Invitational

            Batesville, Ark. – Coming off a win two weeks ago in the Williams Baptist Fall Invitational, Central Baptist College men's golf teed off this morning in the first round of the Scots Fall Invitational at the Course at Eagle Mountain. CBC shot an opening round 297 and sits in a tie for second place, two shots behind first round leader Williams Baptist.

            Individually, Jakub Slapal had the lowest round for the Mustangs, firing an even-par 72 to put himself in eighth place, just three strokes off the lead. Suraprat Pareepart, Kitsakon Jairak and Preston Nestorenko all opened with 75s and Gustavo Bello shot an opening round 81. The Mustangs will look for their second win in three tournaments this fall when they tee off for the final round tomorrow.
