Mustangs Finish Fourth In AMC Championship

Melbourne, Ark. – Entering the final round in third place, Central Baptist College men’s golf was on the course at Cooper’s Hawk Golf Club today for the concluding 18 holes of the American Midwest Conference Championship. CBC shot a final round 314 for a total of 918 to finish in fourth place, three shots behind the third place finishers.

Melbourne, Ark. – Teeing off for the final time in 2025, Central Baptist College men’s golf was on course at Cooper’s Hawk Golf Club for the first 36 holes of the American Midwest Conference Championship. CBC shot a 300 and a 304 in the first two rounds for a total of 604, good for third place, 23 shots behind second.

Clifton, Tenn. – Starting the day 32 shots off the lead, Central Baptist College men’s golf played the final 18 holes today at the Lions Spring Classic at Ross Creek Landing. CBC improved by seven shots on the day, finishing with a 322 for a total of 651, finishing in 10th place.

Cabot, Ark. – Sitting within striking distance of the overall lead after 36 holes, Central Baptist College men’s golf looked to capture their third tournament win of the season at their own Spring Invitational at Cypress Creek Golf Course. CBC closed with a final round 304 and finished fifth with a score of 927, 25 shots behind the winners from Mineral Area College.

Columbia, Mo. – Looking to makeup ground after day one, Central Baptist College men’s golf teed off today in the final round of the Columbia Spring Invitational at Columbia Country Club. The Mustangs improved by 18 shots, shooting a final round 306 to finish with a 630 and in 11th place.

Slapal Earns AMC Athlete of the Week

St. Louis, Mo. – For the second time this season, Central Baptist College men’s golf has had an athlete selected as the American Midwest Conference’s golfer of the week. Jakub Slapal was the recipient of that recognition this week, joining teammate Kitsakon Jairak, who earned recognition earlier this season.

Maumelle, Ark. – Playing for the final time this fall season, Central Baptist College men’s golf teed off today at the Country Club of Arkansas for the first 36 of 54 holes at the CBC Fall Invitational. The Mustangs shot a two-round total of 615 to lead by five strokes headed into tomorrow’s final round.

CBC closed with an 18-over-par round of 306 to finish in second place, 12 shots off the winners, Tennessee-Southern.

CBC closed with a 302 to finish with a 599, six strokes off the win in fourth place.
