CBC In Second Place After 36 Holes at AMC Championship

            Jefferson City, Mo. – Looking to make history, Central Baptist College men's golf teed off this morning for the first 36 holes of the American Midwest Conference Championship at Jefferson City Country Club. CBC shot 302-300 for a 36-hole score of 602, good for second place, 33 shots off the lead and four shots ahead of third place.

            Individually, Leopold Maes is in sixth place after back-to-back 74's for a 148. Emmanuel LaBeur is tied for seventh after shooting 79-70 while Jakub Slapal shot 72-80, Kitsakon Jairak went 76-78 and Preston Nestorenko shot 78-80. Paul Gomez shot 77-78 as an individual and Suraprat Pareepart went 78-78 in his individual round.

            The Mustangs will tee off at 9 a.m. tomorrow for the final 18 holes looking to upset the defending champs at the top.
