Mustangs in Fourth After Round One of Battle At Big Creek

Mountain Home, Ark. – Playing in state for the third time this spring, Central Baptist College men's golf teed off today in the Battle at Big Creek. CBC shot a first round 303 and sits in fourth place, 17 shots behind the leaders, William Woods.
Individually, Preston Nestorenko shot a first round 74 to put himself in a tie for 10th, five shots off the individual lead. Jakub Slapal was next with a 75 and Kitsakon Jairak was a shot behind at a 76. Leopold Maes and individual Suraprat Pareepart both shot 78's while Emmanuel LaBeur shot 80 and individual Paul Gomez shot 83.
The Mustangs will look to make up the difference in tomorrow's final round.
