Mustangs in Second After 36 Holes of Home Tournament

Cabot, Ark. – Coming off a win in their first tournament this Spring, Central Baptist College men's golf teed off today for the first two rounds of the 2024 CBC Invitational at Cypress Creek Golf Club. CBC shot a two round score of 606, 13 shots behind the leaders, USAO.
Individually, Emmanuel LaBeur paced CBC shooting 77-71 for a 148, putting him in a tie for sixth, four shots off the lead. Jakub Slapal was next, shooting 77-74 (151), followed by Kitsakon Jairak, who shot 76-76 (152). Preston Nestorenko, who competed as an individual, went 80-75 (155) and was followed by Leopold Maes who shot 86-73 for a 159, Suraprat Pareepart, who went 82-84 (166) and Paul Gomez, who competed as an individual, shot 92-80 for a 172.
The Mustangs will tee off at 9 a.m. tomorrow looking for win #2 to open the spring.
