CBC Two Shots Off First Round Lead At FHU Fall Invitational

            Henderson, Tenn. – Teeing off for their final tournament of the fall today, Central Baptist College men's golf was on the course at Chickasaw Golf Club for the first round of the Freed-Hardeman Fall Invitational. CBC shot an opening round 307 and is two shots off the lead, held by Mississippi University for Women.

            Individually, Kitsakon Jairak is tied for the lead after shooting an ever-par 72 for the round. Emmanuel LaBeur is also in the top-10, tied for eighth after firing a 77 in round one. Preston Nesterenko is next, one shot behind LaBeur while Jakub Slapal shot an opening round 80 and Leopold Maes shot an 81, along with individual competitor Suraprat Pareepart.

            Men's golf tees off tomorrow at 8 a.m. in the final round looking for their second tournament win of the fall.
